All our gardens have a lovely all-weather grass surface so the children can enjoy it year round. We see the garden as a real extension of inside with a variety of different and challenging activities every day. The children go out at least twice a day no matter what the weather as we really see that the children always benefit from it. The children can explore the mud kitchen where they can search for mini beasts and help to look after the plants in our growing area. We grow vegetables and herbs, the children can plant them, pick them, prepare them, and then have them with their lunch so they can see the whole process.
All our gardens have an in ground sandpit for the children to play in and a separate baby garden, this enables them to play safely while still feeling very involved with their older siblings and friends. We have climbing frames, trains and different sit on cars and bikes in each setting. We also go for walks to see the local amenities such as visiting the library or feeding the ducks. We have wrist straps and double pushchairs so all age groups can enjoy this.
Ofsted - "The key person system is highly effective as staff know each child exceptionally well. They tailor their daily routine in order to cater for each child's welfare needs."
