Poppies Rooms are divided into four age groups. Our Baby Nest is for children aged 6 weeks to 22 months approximately. Our Little Explorers are aged 20/22 months to approximately 2 years 6 months. The children then progress to our Big Explorers until they are approximately 3.5 years old to 3 years 9 months, when they move into our Nursery Class.

At Poppies we make every day stimulating and fun for all the children in our care. We always value children as unique and curious individuals and we respect childhood as a very special and important time in their lives.

We will always do our best to nurture and support the children during their learning journey. We will endeavour to provide a safe and secure environment where children become independent confident learners and are given support and encouragement to enable them to reach their full potential.

We always consider each child's individual needs and ensure that they have several visits into the next group to assess their readiness.
